Notes for contributors

NUMISMATICS, SIGILLOGRAPHY AND EPIGRAPHY REVIEW publishes articles and contributions about coins, coin hoards, seals, coin–like and epigraphic artifacts from the depots of public and private collections in Bulgaria or abroad, as well as from archaeological investigation in Bulgaria. The REVIEW pages are available also for survey, topical, and discussion works in the field of Classical and Medieval Numismatics and Sphragistics, Classical and Medieval Epigraphy, and all related problems in the field of archaeology and written sources.

Manuscripts
Manuscript is delivered in .doc, .rtf, .odt file format only, together with a hard copy. Use UNICODE fonts only. The paper should not exceed the length of 20 standard pages (ca. 70 000 characters) including summary in Bulgarian, bibliography and list of illustrations. The editorial board does not take any responsibility for stylistic editing on the text and will follow only the scientific correctness, the grammar and the spelling. The style of each paper reflects the author’s view and opinion.
 
Illustrations
1.All the plans and drawings are inserted into the text and should fit the margins of 120×200 mm. The photographs of coins, stamp seals and coin-like finds will be composed in a body at the end of the volume and the size of this body should fit the margins of 120×200 mm.
 
2.Photographs
Black-and-white high quality images on a white background, photocopied on a glossy paper. No inscriptions should be put on the front side. The number of the figure and the orientation have to be indicated if needed.

The scanned images should have real resolution more than 300 dpi. Only following file formats are accepted: .jpg, .tif, .eps, .psd.
