In 1952, at the eastern end of the Selishte locality, S. Stanchev (Vaklinov) and V. Ivanova-Mavrodinova discovered a tombstone inscription of the ichirgou-boyla Mostich in a church that became known in the academic literature as an ossuary, part of the ichirgou-boyla Mostich monastery. Mostich's remains were reburied in a secondary tomb, housed in a small chapel next to the north wall of the church and marked with a stone slab with an exceptional inscription.

The slab is rectangular, without additional processing of the inscription field. The inscription is in old Bulgarian, engraved in 12 lines, preceded by a rosette.

The English translation reads: Here lies Mostich, who was a chrugouboyl under Tsar Simeon and Tsar Peter. At the age of eighty he left the chrugoubil-hood and all his property and became a monk. Thus he came to the end of his life.

The letters are 3,5 to 7.5 cm high. Churgoubil – ichurgou boyl was a superior post within the Bulgarian state, the closest counsellor of the Khan, his confidant. The inscription belongs to the Christian age. However, the year of Mostich’s death, as well as his Christian name, are omitted. The pre-Christian Bulgarian office rank has been preserved. The inscription shows the old state tradition in the transition from pagan to Christian Bulgaria.
