The first edition of the “Summer School for Kids and Students” of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was held from July 15 to 19. Over a week, the museum pedagogues stimulated growing generations, explained Archaeological science, the value of museum exhibits and in-situ finds, and, most importantly, helped them perceive themselves through the prism of the past and its reflection into the Present. The adapted educational movies, the museum talks, the intensive applied works, and the walk through the ruins of Roman Serdica fostered critical thinking, stimulated the creativity of the children, and bridged the gap between the scientific and research work of the archaeologists and the museum space.
