On February 28th, 2011, Ass. Prof. Dr. Margarita Vaklinova was granted the Joint Special Prize of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education, Youth and Science in the field of archeology – a branch from 2010 Pythagoras Prizes for scholarship for her contribution to preserve the cultural heritage of Bulgaria.
