Public lecture by Mr. Petr Škrdla, Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences, Brno, Czech Republic

The National Institute of Archaeology with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NIAM-BAS) is pleased to invite you to a public lecture by Mr. Petr Škrdla, Institute of Archaeology, Academy of Sciences, Brno, Czech Republic.

The lecture is entitled "Tracing the early migrations of Anatomically Modern Humans from Levant to the rest of Eurasia" and will be held on May 22nd, 2014, at 16.00 in the Board Hall of NIAM-BAS, 1 Atanas Burov Square (entrance from the site of Presidency).

The problem will be discussed in the context of the spread of Initial Upper Paleolithic industries from the Levant (Boker Tachtit) through Balkan Peninsula (Temnata cave) to Moravia (Bohunice, Stránská skála) and further to the east (Kulychivka, Kara Bom). The lecture will be in English.
