New donation by NAIM-BAS for Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Stamen Iliev”, Montana

New donation by NAIM-BAS for Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Stamen Iliev”, MontanaOn 22 December, 2015 the Neonatology Ward at the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Stamen Iliev” in the city of Montana received a new donation by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum (NAIM-BAS) – four cots and a special lamp which facilitates venous manipulations in newborns. The donation is worth 2902 lv.

For the ninth year in a row, NAIM-BAS supported the Montana hospital in medical care for the youngest patients. The whole equipment, purchased and donated through all these years, is to the total value of 17 938 lv. The newly donated lamp is a product of the “Dräger” company and serves to highlight the veins, facilitates the procedure and saves the pain during application of intravenous therapy in newborns.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyudmil Vagalinski, Director of NAIM-BAS, and Mrs. Tsvetanka Starcheva, Chief Accountant of NAIM-BAS, handed over the donation to the ward doctors and to Dr. Todor Todorov, Executive Director of Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Stamen Iliev”, Montana.
