Public lecture by Dr. Michela Spataro, Department of Conservation and Scientific Research, British Museum

The National Archaeological Institute with Museum (NAIM-BAS) is pleased to invite you to a public lecture by Dr. Michela Spataro, Department of Conservation and Scientific Research, British Museum.

The lecture titled “Innovative potters: ceramic changes in the middle Neolithic of south and south-eastern Europe (ca. 5500-4500 BC)” will be held in the Board Hall of NAIM-BAS, Sofia, 1 Atanas Burov Square (opposite the Bulgarian presidency building) on 22 January, 2016 (Friday) at 4.30 pm.

Dr. Spataro has been conducting natural science research on ceramics at the British Museum since 2007. Her research interests are directed to the Neolithic in Southern and Southeastern Europe with a focus on the technology of ceramic production and origin of raw materials. She participates in a project team of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum.
