“Conflicts and Catastrophes in Roman and Late Antique Thrace” – Fourth International Conference “Roman and Late Antique Thrace” (RaLATh)

The National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, in partnership with the Ephorates of Antiquities of Rhodope, Hebros and Xanthi, and Istanbul University, has the pleasure of inviting you to an international conference specially dedicated to Roman and Late Antique Thrace (RaLATh) from 12 to 16 October 2020. The event will be hosted in Burgas. The conference theme is "Conflicts and Catastrophes in Roman and Late Antique Thrace". The aim of the conference is to bring together specialists from various disciplines, working on problems like invasions, armed conflicts and natural disasters in Thrace. The deadline for submissions is 29 February 2020. This is the fourth edition of the RaLATh conference series, after the events in Plovdiv (2016), Marmara Ereğlisi (2017), and Komotini (2018).
