Conference “Czech Scholars & The Beginnings of Bulgarian Historical Research”

The National Archaeological Institute with Museum, in partnership with Charles University in Prague and Varna Archaeological Museum, is organizing a conference dedicated to the activity of Czech scholars who contributed to the development of historical science in newly independent Bulgaria. The conference will take place from 12 to 14 June in Varna. The main focus will be on little known or unpublished archival materials pertaining to the life and deeds of the Czech researchers in Bulgaria in the end of the 19th - early 20th century. The deadline for paper proposals is 31 March 2020.
