The volume LI from the series Bulletin of the National Institute of Archaeology, “In memoriam Professoris Ivani Jordanov”, has just been published. It is edited by Dr. Pantelis Charalampakis and Assist. Prof. Dr. Georgi Sengalevich. The book is dedicated to the memory of Professor Dsc Ivan Jordanov (1949-2021), a renowned and respected scholar in the area of medieval numismatics and sigillography.

The volume contains sixteen scientific studies and articles on medieval sigillography, numismatics and epigraphy. The texts were authored by 25 specialists from 8 countries. At the beginning of the volume, Prof. Dr. Zhenya Zhekova presents Prof. Ivan Jordanov’s professional biography and research work. A complete bibliography of Prof Jordanov’s works compiled by Assist. Prof. Dr. Kamen Andonov and Dr. P. Charalampakis is also published.
