NAIM – BAS announces a competition for academic position of Senior Assistant profile "Culture in Ancient Thrace during the Late Iron Age", for the needs of the Department of Thracian Archaeology

The National Archaeological Institute with Museum – BAS (NAIM – BAS) hereby announces a competition for academic position of Senior Assistant, in the field 2.2. History and Archaeology (Archaeology) profile "Culture in Ancient Thrace during the Late Iron Age", for the needs of the Department of Thracian Archaeology;

Deadline: two months from the promulgation in the State Gazette (SG, No 54 / 12.06.2026)

The applicants to participate in the competition for the academic position of Chief Assistant shall submit an application for admission together with the documents under Art. 19 of ADASRB as follows:

1. Curriculum Vitae;

2. Diploma for Doctor’s educational and scientific degree;

3. Medical Certificate;

4. Criminal Record Certificate;

5. Certificate for job experience in the relevant field, if available;

6. List of publications, inventions and other scientific-applicable results;

7. Reference for fulfillment of the minimum national requirements under Art. 2b, Para. 2 and 3, respectively the requirements under Art. 2b, Para. 5, which shall be accompanied by the necessary evidence specified in ADASRB of 05.05.2018, Regulations for its implementation and in the Rules on the conditions and procedures for acquiring scientific degrees and holding academic positions in the National Archeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
