The National archaeological exhibition "Bulgarian Archaeology 2013" was organized and hosted by the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for the seventh year in a row.

The exhibition was part of the programme for celebrating the 145th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1869-2014). It traditionally represents the results of field studies of the last archaeological season through the abundance of rich illustrative material.

This year 12 historical and archaeological museums in the country were co-organizers of the exhibition. More than 40 posters showed the main results of the field studies of nearly a quarter of all the archaeological sites investigated in 2013.
